Description

When it comes to making low cost travel easy, safe and reliable, there is no team more important than Engineering & Maintenance. As one of our B1 Licensed Engineers you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers moving and reducing delays - and helping us continue to have the highest technical reliability of any Airbus fleet in the world.

As part of an 800 strong team, you’ll do this by using your technical knowledge of aircraft to perform maintenance activities on our fleet of A320 and A320neos to industry leading safety and technical standards. Working under the guidance of Duty

Engineers or Aircraft Maintenance Supervisors, you’ll carry out defect rectification and routine servicing using the latest tools and technology.

Everyone at easyJet shares the ‘Orange Spirit’, and within Engineering & Maintenance that means working with people who collaborate, are approachable, are incredibly diverse and inclusive, stand up to be counted, and have your back. As well as rock solid commitment to your ongoing development and training, we can also offer you lots of other benefits including bonuses, share schemes, and of course discounts on flights and holidays.

As part of our continuous commitment to the well-being and fulfilment of our Engineering & Maintenance team, easyJet has recently reviewed salaries across the department. In recognition of the production teams overall contribution we have increased both the basic pay and social impact allowance.

What you need to do the role

First and foremost you’ll need to hold a UK Part 66 B1 License (preferably holding A320 type rating), have operational maintenance experience, and possess technical knowledge of aircraft along with the hand skills needed to get the job done. You’ll be comfortable using aircraft maintenance documentation and computer based reporting and recording systems, and have working knowledge of health and safety legislation.

You’ll also naturally need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, with the focus and flexibility to meet deadlines and overcome operational challanges, and being able to collaborate with people at all levels within our internal structure.
